We formed at Blackheath Library the end of April 2014. We appear atOpen Mic Nights. We are also doing a couple of Christmas lights this year. We have a few performances on the calendar until the end of the year and we intend to build up a good selection of songs both old & new in 2015.
Halesowen Ukulele Group Strummers
HUGS is a Ukulele club based in Halesowen where we go to play and sing. We have a separate room where new players of little or no experience can learn the basics with Roy our tutor. There is also an open mic portion to the evening where if you have something you wish to perform you can do. Its is a very friendly environment with a large car park. Bar prices are also very reasonable. If you have an interest in ukuleles please feel free to come along. HUGS is free to attend.
Wednesbury Museum & Art Gallery Open Mic Nights
These open mic nights generally happen once a month at the museum. They are for music, comedy and poetry. The admission charge is £3 and includes light refreshments. It is always best to book a slot to be sure especially on busy nights.
